Pediatric Eye Exams in Warren, Minnesota

From their very first eye exam to the teen years and beyond, your child’s vision plays a big role in how they learn, grow, and experience the world. At Warren Eye Care PC, we provide pediatric eye exams for children of all ages – including infants – because healthy eyes start early. Dr. Stacey Bienek takes a caring, down-to-earth approach to working with kids, creating a calm, positive experience for both children and parents.

What to Expect at Your Child’s Eye Exam

Pediatric eye exams are tailored to your child’s age, development, and specific needs. During the exam, we’ll check visual acuity, eye alignment, depth perception, and overall eye health. For younger children, we use fun, non-intimidating methods to help them stay relaxed and engaged. If your child needs glasses, we’ll walk you through the options and make sure their frames fit comfortably and securely.

Our goal is to catch any vision issues early – like amblyopia (lazy eye), strabismus (eye turn), or uncorrected refractive errors – so your child can succeed at school, play, and everyday life. And if everything looks great? You’ll have peace of mind knowing their eyes are developing as they should.

A Family-Centered Approach

As a mother of four, Dr. Stacey understands the challenges of parenting and the importance of trust in healthcare. That’s why we go the extra mile to make sure you and your child feel welcome, informed, and at ease. Whether you’re visiting for a school screening follow-up or your toddler’s first checkup, we’ll treat your family like our own.

We welcome young patients from Warren, Stephen, Argyle, Hallock, and surrounding communities. With flexible scheduling and a kid-friendly environment, we’re here to support your child’s vision through every stage of growth.

When Should Kids Have an Eye Exam?

  • Infants (6–12 months): First comprehensive eye exam

  • Preschoolers (3–5 years): Check for early vision problems

  • School-age children (6–18 years): Exams every 1–2 years, or as recommended

If your child has symptoms like frequent squinting, headaches, rubbing their eyes, or difficulty focusing, an eye exam may be needed sooner.
